Northumbria University’s city campus will be transformed into an galactic winter wonderland, complete with interactive installations, projections, light art, performance as well as a space for visitors to find out more about the universe. Moosenwirt & The North Pole
Newcastle’s Christmas pop-up bars are returning to the winter village, bringing the cosy charm of the Alps to the heart of the city. The city’s love of festive gatherings, great drinks, and live music has grown into a seasonal tradition where locals and visitors celebrate the festive season in the alpine bar. From our hand-crafted yurt and roaring fire pits to the sparkling North Pole igloos and bustling festive huts, everything we do is about creating magical winter moments.

The 1 mile long walk around Leazes Park takes you through around 15 illumination zones, each with their own unique personalities and pit stops along the way.
