Kayaking on the Tyne

It's the chance to see Newcastle and the Quayside's bridges in a different way - by paddling on the river

Kayak tours of the Tyne are set to begin this month!

The guided trips will run throughout the school summer holidays.

Tours are supervised by two expert guides from Culllercoats Bike and Kayak, who have been running watersports trips by the North Tyneside coast for five years. The route starts at NE1’s City Marina on the Quayside and takes in all seven bridges during the one-hour trip. Previous kayaking experienced is not required, but participants should be confident they can do 30 minutes of moderate exercise.
