ARLA Propertymark (Association of Residential Letting Agents)
Pat Robson & Company are proud members of ARLA Propertymark, and as such adhere to their code of conduct ARLA Propertymark is the UK’s foremost professional and regulatory body for letting agents. As a member of ARLA, we operate to professional standards far higher than the law demands. As an ARLA Propertymark Protected agent, consumers have the peace of mind that Pat Robson & Co provide a professional service and that their money is safeguarded by Propertymark’s Client Money Protection scheme. Our senior management team are all either Members or Fellows of ARLA.
CMP (Client Money Protection)
From 1 April 2019 property agents in the private rented sector holding client money are legally required to belong to a Client Money Protection scheme. As members of ARLA Propertymark, Pat Robson & Co belong to their associated CMP scheme and ensure that Landlords and Tenants’ money is protected. NAEA Propertymark (National Association of Estate Agents)
The National Association of Estate Agents’ aim is to reassure the general public that by appointing a NAEA Propertymark Protected agent to represent them, they will be safeguarded and receive the highest level of integrity and service for all property matters. Pat Robson & Co have been a member of the NAEA for a number of years, and as such can reassure all clients buying and selling property that as a member of this professional body, we offer better protection for them, providing Client Money Protection, Professional Indemnity insurance and membership of an independent redress scheme.
TPO (The Property Ombudsman)
It is a legal obligation for any estate and/or letting agent to join an approved redress scheme. Pat Robson & Co are members of The Property Ombudsman. TPO provides a code of practice which must be followed by its members, and the Codes provide a benchmark for agency staff to work to, ensuring a consistent service for consumers. By abiding by the Codes of Practice, Pat Robson & Co ensure that we are working to higher professional standards than are currently required within the industry therefore offering the highest level of service to our clients.
